Analysis (issue)

To some people fast food is not good to eat at all, while others think it is okay. The main concerns are the calories, fats, saturated fat, and cholesterol they are putting in their bodies. Eating fast food is always taking a risk of having a very unhealthy body. When you break the two words Fast-Food down its simply saying Fast- easily satisfying, something thats at their convenience. Quick and fast (doesnt mean its healthy), but its available. The word Food- something to eat, provides nutritional support for the body. So if your putting unhealthy support (food) in your body, then you present dietary risk especially if its something that you eat on a regular.

"Some health issues, such as atherosclerosis, or arteries clogged by dietary fats, develop slowly over time. Others, such as hypertension, or high blood pressure, can arise more quickly. Foods including hamburgers, fried fish and chicken, breakfast sandwiches, submarine sandwiches and tacos are high in saturated fat, trans fat and/or cholesterol, which promote atherosclerosis, and in sodium, which is directly linked to elevated blood pressure levels. According to the U.S.Department of Agriculture, all of these foods also carry large calorie loads, which can increase your weight.Gaining weight can reduce your energy and fitness levels, slowing you down and diminishing your quality of life. A 2005 scientific study tracked a 10-lb. weight gain over 15 years in adolescents who ate fast foods more than twice a week. Left unaddressed, overweight conditions can lead to obesity, which is considered a body mass index of 30 and higher. These consequences of weight gain are primary risk factors for high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some types of cancer, arthritis, incontinence, higher surgical risks, lower reproductive fertility and depression. There are plenty of people consuming junk food right now well aware of what's in it and what it will do to their health and body. I think a lot of people forget this. Some people completely bypass the health issues with fast food and just eat it.So why do they do it? They like the fast food. Sometimes they like the junk food more than they care about their health. Two major reasons for health issues not stopping people from buying fast food are chemicals and the environment. There are Chemicals put in the food to make sure you come back to eat more, chemicals that are highly addictive. One example of this is high fructose corn syrup, which isn't only put in sugary foods, but actually many foods you wouldn't even think of!The Second issue is environment.By environment, I mean the environment some of these businesses create within their business. For example, not to pick on only them, but McDonalds has play places for children, televisions (in some) for adults, and large seating areas. The McDonalds in my area actually compares to a restaurant. It has fancy lighting and very comfortable seats and so on.Additionally, for some, taking the kids out to eat is the only family time they can actually get. It's the only environment where there is a lack of stress (sans dietary/chemical). I can really sympathize with this although it's on the sad side. I believe anyone can recreate their life to the point where they are able to provide a positive and nourishing environment for not only themselves, but also those they care about. The point I am trying to make is that junk food isn't only
about the taste of the food. There are many underlying reasons for why you or someone else eats it.

We all love McDonalds so much, when it one of most unhealthy places to eat and the sad part about it is, it’s the biggest money maker worldwide. Everyone has eaten at mickey D's at least once in their life. Every dollar that we give them, only helps purchase more and more unhealthy food. We look at it as the fast food place that’s been around for decades and has been a success. A place for the kids to play while they eat. Something we can grab and go, when it’s damaging our temple. Our body is all we have and if it’s not taken care of and treated with the proper care that’s it for us. It’s time we get the bigger picture and stop satisfying our hunger with something quick and easy but take out time to prepare a healthy meal for ourselves and our family so that we all can hang around a little while longer in good health.

Conclusion

We need to realize the seriousness in fast food, eating unhealthy and what it does to the body. We always want something that’s tasty to us when that’s not always the best thing to take in. everyone understands that sometimes it may be difficult to do but we have to make a mature decision and do what’s best. Fast food restaurants doesn’t care about your health and what could happen to you they care about the dollar and every time you spend your money in these restaurant the big man are smiling because their pockets are fat and full of dead presidents. We must realize it’s all about money today any way that more money is to be made they are going to look into, study it, try it, and if it work make it happen. The fact that they don’t care about us we have to care enough about ourselves. Fast food is just a quicker way to sign your death certificate or prepare for health issues to occur. The more you do research you learn that that’s where a lot of health issue come from. Not treating and nurturing your body/temple with the right things. If we take care of our bodies now we will be in very good shape when we become elders. We think lots of time we are saving money by buying something fast and quick when really going to the store making a meal saved you more money. Realize you have to eat everyday so five dollars a day for seven days is thirty-five dollars when you can make twenty dollars last a whole week. Which means you have fifteen-dollars left add five more there goes food for week number two. I say all that to say eat healthly so we can stick around longer and have fewer health problems.imagesCASSU0ZU.jpg
